Tashwikaa’s Tiger Story

Rag, Ellelam, and the Friendly Tiger

Once upon a time, in a big green forest, there lived two happy rabbits.

Their names were Rag and Ellelam.

Rag and Ellelam were the best of friends. They loved jumping, running, and eating yummy carrots from each other’s homes.

One sunny morning, they were playing catch near the tall trees. They were laughing so loudly that they didn’t see someone coming their way.

Suddenly—BANG!

They bumped into a huge tiger. His name was Sora.

But Rag and Ellelam just giggled and said, “Oops!” and ran off without saying hello.

Sora was surprised.

“Hmm… how dare these tiny rabbits not greet me?” he thought.

He stood still like a statue and got an idea.

“I will give them a little scare!”

Sora hid behind a bush and waited.

Soon, Rag and Ellelam came hopping back, still laughing and playing.

Suddenly—WHOOSH!

Sora jumped out and caught them both with one big paw.

“Oh no!” cried Rag.

“Please let us go!” begged Ellelam.

Sora said in his deep voice,

“Why didn’t you say hello to me, little ones? Don’t you know I am the big, strong tiger of this forest?”

Rag said, “Oh, mighty Sora, we didn’t mean to ignore you. We were just busy playing and didn’t see you!”

Ellelam added, “You are our protector, Sora! Because you live in this forest, hunters are scared to come here. You keep all of us safe!”

Sora smiled.

“Well said, little friends. But I am sad. Some bad people still try to hurt tigers like me. That makes me feel lonely and worried.”

Rag smiled and said, “Don’t be sad, Sora! Many children today love tigers. They are learning to protect you and your home.”

Ellelam laughed, “And Sora, when you meet them, please don’t scare them with your big teeth and long whiskers, okay?”

Sora laughed loudly, “Ha ha ha! I promise.”

Rag and Ellelam hopped away happily.

But wait… do you hear that?

Sora is calling me and my friends to play. I’m coming, Sora!
