Answer the following question:
Do you believe in:
1. Love @ first sight
2. Love @ last sight
3. Love @ no sight
4. None of the above
5. Depends on many factors
May be I have an answer (4) till yesterday. But now I would click a definite choice and after this incident I related many events in my life to this.
In the same dusted dress, which she started liking now-a-days, mostly because she is angry on me as I am not washing and giving her new dress, she said “welcome raanji”, the intimate name of mine by her. I could sense that she is not in the usual merry energized mood. I am also in sync with her and I cannot compare it in a better way. With that heavy heart she said “let’s go” matching its tag line coined by her birth givers and shares along with 5lakh siblings. She was spot on job. As raghunathan says “don’t sprint the marathon”, she gained speed as the milestones showed decreasing kms left to reach Hyderabad. She took a break at university campus of my bro refreshing his memories in the city of ‘rakta charitra’ fame. The break lessened our weight too. J. It might have felt sad that Nikon D80 didn’t save a single snap of it. She does pose better when needed. The duration I sat in the front and not holding the steering took me to the flash back making more nostalgic. The day when I wounded her back by hitting to a tree… the day when I broke her front right leg dashing to a road side sign board… the days I gave her nice head bath… the days she transported me to wonderful places around Bangalore….The dream stopped when it found its drink shop and started crying like a kid. Maintains her figure because of the fluid diet it consumes, the energy drink increased the stamina and she ran like the mare Makybe Diva speeding up, crossing big daddy hurdles and safely dropping us at the destination well before the expected time. She stood sincerely in front of the ‘No Parking’ board in a not so strange city, still obeying its soon retiring boss’ orders.
After the sumptuous biryani after a long wait at “BAWARCHI, no branches” the moment came….To bid good bye… I touched its back to console her… our eyes doing most of the talking… understood and seen by only 2 water screened retinas. She didn’t weep… bondage of 3yrs 5mnths 11 days comes to an end…..
And so now I feel I have a definite answer to my opening question.
